We landed in New Jersey straight from Cherie & Jon’s wedding in Hawaii—jet-lagged, sunburned, and fired up for one of wedding photography’s greatest and most challenging adventures—the vibrant chaos of an Indian wedding.
Pavi & Mitesh’s wedding was everything we’ve come to love about Indian weddings—the colours, the emotion, the energy, the fast-paced action, and all the subtle little stories hiding amidst the extravaganza. And Pavi & Mitesh embodied everything we’ve come to love about the couples who seek us out. They didn’t want a photoshoot. They wanted a wedding. And what a wedding it was!
It was a wedding marathon! There was exhaustion. There was overwhelm. There was joy. Pavi and Mitesh held each other through it all—through the noise, the tradition, the hugs, the tears, the dance floor bliss. We had the honour of witnessing it all, and documenting it exactly how it all went down (you won’t find a single posed portrait or fake moment in the photos below).
Big shout-out to our incredible alumni, Abhi Sarkar, for being an absolute machine and helping us power through the weekend.
Pavi, Mitesh—thank you! Thanks for your trust. Thanks for letting us in. Thanks for being real and allowing us to tell your story.
