Jill + Ian’s Winter Wedding in Jasper National Park

We first meet Jill and Ian last summer on the day of their actual engagement. Sitting by Bow Falls, in Banff National Park, picnicking with our family, a young couple came up and asked us to take their picture, using their camera. Fast forward 8-months, and we’re photographing their wedding in Jasper National Park. It was meant to be.

Jill and Ian’s wedding was full of love & laughter, friends & family, and ice & snow… lots of snow! For Ian and the boys (and Lanny), the day started off in quintessential “Canadian” fashion, with a game of shinny hockey on a frozen mountain lake.

Their ceremony and reception took place at Jasper’s Sawridge Inn, while outside the skies continued to dump snow. The dance party roared into the early morning hours.

Thank you Jill and Ian, and all your wonderful friends and family, for welcoming us into your special celebration. And thank you to Britney and Leanne for helping us out for the day. Here are a few of our favourite shots from the day.
