My Name is Carsten Schertzer. Former skateboarder turned professional Wedding Photographer based in Los Angeles and San Francisco, California. I decided to attend the Two Mann Studios workshop because of a strong and undeniable desire to push my work to the furthermost level possible. After years of working and educational experience in wedding photography, it seemed like the next logical step was attending this workshop. I mean, what better way to push yourself and your work to the next level than by spending 3 days with some of the world’s best wedding photographers/Human beings? My experience attending the workshop started like any other great adventure – Traveling 7,086 Miles between two planes, to a country I’ve never been before, with one lost bag, a desire to spend 3 days with 12 complete strangers, and a vague sense of what was coming ahead of me. I won’t speak on the workshop itself because honestly, My words couldn’t possibly do it justice. However, I will say this: If you have a burning desire to push yourself, to see what you are really capable of as a photographer than you want this. No, you NEED this. Because quite frankly, this workshop changed me. It left me inspired, rejuvenated, and speechless, like a swift and strangely pleasurable kick to the chest that left my perspective on life, photography, and business, altered, permanently.
